Porcelain Patio and Block Paving Driveway Installation
Project overview
We were contacted to carry out a free site survey and quote for a new patio and driveway. The customer wanted both projects completed at the same time, which was no problem for our team, and meant they had their whole outdoor space transformed in one go.
We sent over a full written quote within 48 hours of the initial consultation. After further discussions on the design, and answering all of the customer’s questions, they chose Pro Scapes for the job.
The work
We began by excavating all of the areas involved, with the waste removed from site by a muck-away service. A Type 1 MOT sub-base was then laid to the correct levels and compacted with a plate compactor, creating a solid foundation for both the patio and driveway.
For the patio, we installed over 100 square metres of porcelain tiles, building in five recessed manhole covers so they sit flush and blend in with the finished surface. For the driveway, we laid 40 square metres of Marshalls block paving in charcoal, alongside 80 square metres of grey granite gravel for a durable, low-maintenance finish.
The result
The customer now has a stylish porcelain patio and a hard-wearing driveway that work together as one complete outdoor space, all delivered in a single project with minimal disruption.
